Doma Weekly: Quests, DAVs, and New Ways to Play Across DomainFi

TL;DR This week on Doma, Quests went live and gave the community new ways to earn, compete, and climb. DAVs moved into the spotlight as a new market structure for premium domain portfolios, Census.xyz went onchain, agent-ready domains kept progressing, and the app continued turning DomainFi into a working system.

Product Updates

This was a relatively quiet week on mainnet, with the team focused on cleanup, polish, and release reliability.

The Explore page received a visual polish pass to better match the latest Figma designs. Small UI improvements like this matter because they make discovery feel cleaner, more consistent, and easier to use across the app.

The team also rolled out Quest stabilization and cleanup, including cleanup around the TRADE_ORDERBOOK quest type. With Quests now live for users, this kind of cleanup helps keep the experience reliable as more people begin completing missions and climbing the leaderboard.

Feature Spotlight: Quests Are Live

Season 1 just got a major upgrade.

The launch of Quests gives the Doma community a more active way to engage with the app. Instead of only tracking leaderboard movement after the fact, users can now see specific missions, complete them, and earn points directly.

The idea is simple:

Complete quest → earn points → move up the leaderboard.

That creates a better feedback loop for everyone. New users have clearer actions to take. Existing users have more ways to stay active. Competitive users have new ways to climb.

It also makes the Doma app feel more alive. Every action can contribute to your position. Every mission creates another reason to come back. Every completed quest helps turn the leaderboard into something users actually play.

Game on.

Doma By the Numbers

Another strong week across the platform.

Doma pushed past $94M in total volume, 12.7M transactions, and 131K tokenized assets as activity continues to compound across the app.

The numbers keep moving in the right direction. More domains are coming onchain, more wallets are interacting with the protocol, and the market structure around DomainFi keeps getting stronger week by week.

DAVs Move Into Focus

This week also brought more attention to DAVs, or Domain Asset Vehicles.

Real estate has REITs. Stocks have ETFs. Domains have had no equivalent market structure for decades.

Domain Asset Vehicles (DAVs) are designed to change that, and to make premium domain exposure more accessible.

They bring premium domain portfolios into an onchain structure built for liquidity, access, and distribution. Instead of premium domains remaining locked inside private portfolios, DAVs create a way for broader markets to gain exposure to high-quality domain assets.

The domain market has had valuable assets for a long time. What it has lacked is modern financial infrastructure.

DAVs are one step toward fixing that.

New Assets Onchain

Census.xyz went live on Doma this week.

A 2,000-year-old word. A next-gen TLD. Tokenized and tradable.

Census.xyz is the kind of name that explains the product before you even open the site. It points directly at collective opinion, prediction markets, public signal, and the future of internet-native coordination.

That is what strong domains do. They compress an idea into something people can remember, trade, build on, and rally around.

Community Corner

The community conversation this week centered around two themes: quests and agent-ready domains.

On the quests side, users now have a clear way to earn points, complete missions, and climb the leaderboard. The launch gives the community more structure and more reasons to stay active inside the app.

On the agentic side, the conversation kept building around AI agents, domain ownership, and the Doma Agentic Wallet powered by Privy. The flow is becoming easier to understand:

Discovery → Trust → Payments.

An AI agent can discover what a domain can do, understand the relevant onchain context, and safely transact through agentic payments. That is no longer just a roadmap idea. The pieces are already live and starting to connect.

The internet’s identity layer is being rebuilt in real time, and domains are becoming part of the agent economy.

Looking Ahead

DomainFi keeps compounding.

Quests are live. DAVs are moving into focus. More premium domains are coming onchain. Agent-ready infrastructure is getting closer to everyday use. The community has more ways to participate, and the app keeps turning abstract ideas into working product.

The bigger picture is simple: domains are becoming programmable, tradable, and usable inside new financial and agentic systems.

Every week, more of that system comes online.
