Doma Weekly: DomainFi For Everyone - Simple View, Security Upgrades, Easy Onramp & 11M+ Transactions

TL;DR: This week on Doma was about making the platform work better for everyone, whether you're just getting started or deep in the trading flow. We shipped a cleaner experience for new users, rolled out account security features, crossed 11M+ transactions, and brought some of the best conversations from Dominion live on air. A lot moved this week.

Product Updates

The engineering team shipped a solid week across the board. The biggest additions:

  • Simple vs. Advanced view. Doma now adapts to how you trade.
  • Solana bridge is live. Move tokens directly from Solana into Doma with full cross-VM support.
  • Buy a domain inside the swap panel. Available as a toggle in advanced view.
  • Unified account activity. Doma activity and bridge transfers now appear in a single timeline, auto-refreshed after each transaction.
  • Fiat onramp via Meld. Users can now go from fiat to USDC on Doma in one flow, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut, Venmo, and more. Meld routes to the best available quote based on location and provider.
  • Smarter Tokens tab. Server-side search, pool suggestions, and "View all" chips across your portfolio.
  • Updates across the board. Sort by season points, multiselect status filter in explore, and cleaner search experience.
  • Bug fixes. Bridges no longer get stuck on pending, deposits route correctly to the active wallet, and a range of mobile, layout, and display polish across the app.

Mobile navigation, portfolio layout, and several display bugs were also cleaned up across the app.

Feature Spotlight: Simple View & Advanced Mode

New users land in Simple View — a clean, straightforward way to view domain tokens, buy domain tokens, and buy out domains without needing to understand every detail of the interface. Getting started has never been easier.

When you're ready to go deeper, flip on Advanced Mode and you're back in full trader territory: charts, indicators, deeper data — everything you need to move with precision.

This isn't just a UI change. It's a deliberate decision to make DomainFi more accessible without watering down the experience for people who want the full picture. Simple View is now the default on all token pages.

Fresh on Doma: Passkeys & Transaction MFA

Security got a serious upgrade this week. You can now add an extra layer of protection to your Doma account and transactions:

Passkeys: sign in faster using biometrics or a security key, no password required.

Transaction MFA: adds a second layer of verification to every transaction you sign with your Doma wallet.

One important reminder: make sure to copy your backup phrase under the QR code so you don't lose access if you ever lose your 2FA device.

Onramp with Meld: Use Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo etc.

Getting into DomainFi just got a lot simpler.

Through Meld, users can now go from fiat to USDC on Doma in a single flow — no extra steps, no need to figure out a separate exchange first. Supported payment methods include credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut, Venmo, and more. Meld automatically routes to the best available quote based on your location and provider options.

For anyone who's held off on getting started because funding a wallet felt like too much friction, this removes that barrier. Fund your wallet and start trading tokenized domains right away.

Doma By The Numbers

A big week on the numbers front. Doma crossed 11M+ total transactions — a clear sign of how fast activity is scaling on the platform.

➤ Total Volume: $84.73M
➤ Total Transactions: 11,452,842
➤ Total Tokenized Assets: 115,574
➤ Total Wallets: 46,494
➤ Domain Tokens Launched: 468

Volume is now pushing past $84M, wallets are growing, and the token count keeps climbing. The platform is moving.

Doma OnAir: Live from Dominion

This week, Doma OnAir went live directly from the Dominion stage in Las Vegas. We sat down with all of our speakers throughout the event for conversations covering DomainFi, liquidity strategies for domain portfolios, and a full breakdown of the AI.com deal — the largest domain sale ever recorded.

If you missed it live, the full recording is available now. These conversations are worth watching — real insights from people building and investing at the intersection of domains and on-chain liquidity.

Community Corner

The mood this week was noticeably energized coming off Dominion. Conversations in Discord have shifted toward next steps — people who attended are sharing what they took away, and people who watched online are now asking more specific questions about liquidity, token launches, and how to get their domains on-chain.

The Simple View launch is generating a lot of positive feedback from newer members who found the interface intimidating before. The security update is also getting appreciation, people in the community take wallet safety seriously and the passkey option has been well received.

Looking Ahead

This was a week that moved on multiple fronts at once — better UX for newcomers, stronger security for everyone, and milestone numbers that reflect how far the platform has come. Simple View lowers the barrier to entry without compromising what the platform can do. The Meld onramp means anyone can go from fiat to trading in a single flow. Passkeys and MFA give users the security tools they should have. And 11M+ transactions is a number that speaks for itself.

The post-Dominion energy is real. The conversations that happened in Las Vegas are now making their way back into the community.
