Building the Market: Doma's Q2 by the Numbers
Q2 was the quarter Doma's growth compounded fast. Total volume climbed past $175M, we introduced Domain Asset Vehicles live on the Dominion '26 stage, bringing Solana into the picture as a home for tokenized domain portfolios. Season 1 and Quests turned the leaderboard into a real participation loop, and the app got a full redesign. Here's everything that happened across the quarter, in one place.
Product Updates
Across April, May, and June, the product team shipped some of the biggest changes since mainnet launch:
- A redesigned Doma app with a simpler, cleaner interface and easier navigation across Explore, Earn, Fund, and Launch.

- A built-in AI chat assistant to help users navigate the app and answer questions in real time.
- Domain transfers handled directly in-house, along with self-service registration, renewals, WHOIS privacy controls, and nameserver management — the full lifecycle, no third party needed.
- Smoother onramping and bridging, including new cross-chain routes into Doma and clearer wallet setup flows.
- Season 1 — the biggest leaderboard upgrade yet: weekly resets, wallet levels, seasonal multipliers, and an upgraded referral system.
- Quests — new ways to earn leaderboard points through questing, from trading, referring and minting to launching and exploring.
- And a lot more behind the curtains.
Together, these updates took Doma from a trading-first app to a platform with real onboarding, real identity, and a genuine reason to come back every week.
Doma By The Numbers
Q2, in one word: Growth.
Volume milestones this year:

That's a 7x increase in total volume since the start of the year, with four separate milestones crossed inside Q2 alone, with a fifth already crossed as Q3 opens.
End of quarter snapshot:
➤ Total Volume: $175M
➤ Total Transactions: 22,316,778
➤ Total Tokenized Assets: 226,013
➤ Total Wallets: 54,368
➤ Domains Launched: 605+

Dominion '26: DomainFi's Biggest Stage Yet
If one moment defined Q2, it was Dominion '26. Last year, Doma came to Las Vegas to introduce DomainFi as an idea. This year, the team came back with the receipts.

Over two days at Resorts World Las Vegas, domain industry veterans, Web3 builders, institutional investors, and onchain infrastructure leaders shared a room — and left with a shared vocabulary. CEO & Co-Founder Fred Hsu opened with a keynote, Welcome to the New Internet: Where Domains Are Liquid and Agents Are in Charge, and it didn't end on a slide. It ended with Alert.ai, a premium domain, launching live onstage in front of the room. No demo environment, no mock-up: the token launched at a starting FDV of $212,500, ran a bonding curve to $287,500, successfully bonded, and has since drawn 528+ holders and $212K in trading volume.

Highlights on Stage
- Web3 speaker lineup — Vibhu Norby (Solana CPO) and John Nahas (Avalanche CBO) on Ecosystems, plus Charlie Noyes (Kalshi/Paradigm) on market structure.
- The AI.com deal session — both brokers (Larry Fischer, John Mauriello) telling the $70M sale story together for the first time
- Domain veterans and Registrars — Braden Pollock, Monte Cahn, and Richard Lau, Todd Ryan, Andriy Khvetkevych, Ish Milly and many more.
- The hands-on angle — Dominion wasn't just talks, either. The hands-on angle was just as strong: attendees picked up funded wallets to trade live on the floor and booked 1:1 portfolio liquidity assessments with the Doma team. It was less about watching a keynote and more about trying DomainFi yourself.
Domain Asset Vehicles & the Agentic Engine
The single biggest announcement of the quarter came live from the Dominion '26 stage on April 29: Domain Asset Vehicles (DAVs) and the Doma Agentic Engine.

A DAV packages an entire domain portfolio into one tradeable onchain asset. Instead of buying a single premium name, participants get exposure to a diversified portfolio, while operators keep full control over pricing and where their domains stay listed. As names sell through existing marketplaces, proceeds flow back to token holders — turning a group of parked domains into a liquid onchain asset.
"The domain industry has been sitting on a multi-billion-dollar asset class with virtually no financial infrastructure to match its value. DAVs give institutional portfolio owners a way to access liquidity at scale without giving up control of the assets that define their business." — Fred Hsu, CEO & Co-Founder, D3
Doma made the case for why Solana is the natural home for this: sub-second settlement, low fees, and an ecosystem — Phantom, Jupiter, Meteora — already built for the kind of composability DAVs need. The pitch is simple: real estate has REITs, stocks have ETFs, and domains now have DAVs.
Alongside DAVs, the Doma Agentic Engine helps domain owners get ready for an internet where AI agents do a lot of the browsing, evaluating, and transacting. It scores domains on how discoverable they are to agents and provides one-click fixes to close the gaps.

Doma OnAir & Community Conversations
Q2 brought some of the best conversations we've had on Doma OnAir and around the community:
- Richard Lau, Domain investor & owner of Rides.com talking about making domains liquid and launching Rides.com on Doma - Watch here↗️
- Ish Milly, Founder DomainerEXPO, joined our CEO & Co-Founder Fred Hsu and CMO Mark Trang ahead of Dominion to talk about how traditional domain investors are starting to view onchain liquidity. Watch here↗️
- Braden Pollock, founder of Legal Brand Marketing, talking about Agents, Assets & live-launching alert.ai at Dominion - Watch here↗️
- Chad Folkening, founder of eCorp.com, sat down for a Q&A on what it actually looks like to take a parked portfolio productive onchain. Watch here↗️
- David Castello, of the Castello Brothers, joined the Smoothie.com launch AMA and explained why he is putting 1% of supply toward an airdrop for early holders. Watch here↗️
Each conversation pointed at the same theme: decades of Web2 domain expertise are finally meeting a market structure that can unlock liquidity that was never possible before.
