AMA Recap: NicNames CEO Andriy Khvetkevych
Yesterday we hosted a live AMA with Andriy Khvetkevych, CEO of NicNames.com.

The discussion focused on our growing partnership and developments on the registrar side. Andriy shared how his journey began by setting up websites for a store he worked at early in his career, which led him to understand the foundational importance of domains. Over time, his focus shifted toward the strategic value of domain ownership, especially how domains often outlive products, campaigns, and even companies.
He emphasized that timing plays a critical role in domain investing, and that premium domains have steadily appreciated in value since the early 2000s. From his perspective, tokenizing these real-world assets through Doma adds an entirely new liquidity layer to an already proven asset class.
He also shared updates on NicNames’ AI-supported domain search functionality and other product developments currently in progress.
A key message from Andriy: "It’s never too late to start. Now is the right time to explore DomainFi."
He also announced our new promotional cycle, try tokenization and get free domains. Get your code here.

Community Corner
Community participation remained strong this week. We saw a Discord activity with over 16,000+ messages (+6-7% week-over-week growth) across the server.
We also hosted a special Valentine’s Day community give-back event to show appreciation for our users, and we are currently celebrating Lunar New Year Liquidity Week across our socials.
The primary recurring user question continues to focus on trading mechanics and platform support.

Wide ranges are safer because your liquidity is spread across more price levels, staying active through volatility.
Tight ranges earn more because capital is concentrated, increasing fee efficiency, but only while price stays inside.
