Announcing the Winners of The DomainFi Challenge!
We just wrapped up the first ever DomainFi Challenge and what a start it has been. When we first decided to host a hackathon, we did not know exactly what to expect. Domains have always been important online, yet the idea of treating them as liquid, programmable assets is still new for most builders. Would developers care enough to experiment? Would they see the opportunity we see?
The answer came fast. Submissions poured in from around the world. Teams went deep into mechanics, trading logic, AI scoring, and interface design.
You showed us the future. You made it clear that DomainFi is here to stay.

Below are the five winning teams of each hackathon track who stood out with bold ideas, real execution, and a shared belief that domains deserve more.
Every winner receives 10,000 USDC today and is automatically shortlisted for the upcoming 1 million USDC Doma Forge grant program. We cannot wait to see where they take their work next.
Track 1: On-Chain Auctions and Price Discovery
We wanted a fresh approach to price discovery. Traditional domain auctions are rigid, slow, and often exclusive. We asked builders to experiment with mechanics that unlock liquidity for portfolios and create fairer, more dynamic markets.

Winner: Domain Quad Auction Protocol (DQAP)
DQAP is pioneering the evolution of domain auctions through a comprehensive four part system that thrives on interaction.
- Hybrid batch auctions unlock liquidity for large portfolios.
- Premium single domain auctions introduce competitive betting.
- Auction backed lending provides instant access to capital.
- Community voting contests fuel engagement and discovery.
This is an economic flywheel designed for serious domain traders. It delivers price discovery, capital efficiency, and social momentum in one integrated experience. This is how premium names find their true value.

Track 2: Trading Competitions and Portfolio Tools
We challenged teams to build a financial layer around domains. Live data intelligence, risk adjusted exposure, yield generation, and structured competition that unlocks active market participation.

Winner: DomaLend
DomaLend transforms tokenized domains into productive capital. Holders can borrow against their digital assets instead of selling them. Valuations are powered by decentralized AI scoring with cryptographic verification through zkFetch. Automated liquidation with Dutch auctions protects lenders while isolated pools manage risk.
This is the financial infrastructure layer that a mature DomainFi economy requires. Clear value. Clear innovation.

Track 3: Bots and Event Subscriptions
We asked for services that keep users connected to market action without forcing them to sit on a marketplace all day. Alerts, triggers, automation, and more social forms of engagement.

Winner: Domain Bot
This Telegram based command center turns chat into a live trading and intelligence hub for Web3 identity assets. Real time alerts, sniping, bidding, and instant settlement are already live. The roadmap brings AI insights, rarity scoring, gamification, cross naming service support, and community coordination. The Doma Bot wants to be the primary interface for digital identity trading.

Track 4: Trait Scoring and Analytics
The market needs a smarter way to value domains on chain. Not guesswork. Not outdated Web2 appraisal models. We challenged teams to build live intelligence that helps users trade with confidence.

Winner: Bella (formerly Project Peter)
Bella merges Web2 market history, Web3 sentiment, and on-chain provenance into real-time scoring. It is already working with multiple machine learning models and public APIs. Better insight brings better trades and more volume. Bella is building the transparency layer DomainFi needs to scale.

Track 5: Landing Pages and Messaging Interfaces
Often the problem is not the asset. It is the interface. We wanted landing pages and communication tools that make domains easy to discover, easy to sell, and easy to monetize.

Winner: Credora
Credora is building intelligent tools that help owners extract more value from their domains. Lending, leasing, fractionalization, marketplace features, AI insights, name suggestion, and automated landing page creation.
Credora is built for creators, traders, and entrepreneurs who want more from a premium name.

This Community Created Something Real
We started this challenge with a simple vision. If we gave talented builders the right tools, maybe they would show us what DomainFi could become. The community more than delivered. You showed us the sheer potential of DomainFi. A domain is no longer just a web address. It’s a programmable asset that is extremely versatile and multifaceted.
To every participant: thank you for taking the leap with us.
To the winners: this is just the beginning.
We are thrilled to BUIDL this next chapter together.
