Launching Season 0 of the Doma Leaderboard
As part of Doma mainnet, we’re excited to launch Season 0 of the Doma Leaderboard, a unified community points system that recognizes and highlights meaningful participation across the Doma ecosystem.
This is the foundation of Doma’s eventual full points program. Season 0 sets the tone, rewarding early adopters who stake, hold, and support the ecosystem from Day 1.
What Counts Toward Your Points
The following actions count towards your Season 0 points*:
- Holding eligible Domain NFTs and protocol subdomains: Adds a small multiplier to your daily point total.
- Engaging in supported on-chain trading activity: Contributes to your Season 0 points.
- Staking domain tokens: Contributes to your on-chain participation activity and earns Season 0 points.
- Providing liquidity through supported mechanisms: Recognized as part of your overall participation for Season 0.
- Testnet achievements, early community NFTs, and off-chain quests: *Retroactively counted beginning in Season 1, not Season 0.
What Does Not Count
To keep Season 0 focused on direct, verifiable on-chain activity, certain items and activities are NOT included in point calculations:
- Vesting or locked tokens: Excluded since they are not actively used on-chain.
- *Testnet activity: Not counted toward Season 0, but will be incorporated retroactively, beginning in Season 1.
- Off-chain or cross-wallet aggregation: Not counted; each wallet is evaluated independently
Season 0 is intentionally streamlined and limited to on-chain actions only.
*Important Note: As also noted above, testnet roles, testnet achievements, early community NFTs, and all off-chain quests will be recognized starting in Season 1. These contributions remain important to the broader ecosystem and will be incorporated retroactively once the transition to the full leaderboard system is complete.
Scoring Points Reward Tier System
Season 0 organizes participants into performance tiers based on their relative position on the leaderboard. Each wallet is placed into a tier according to its percentile ranking, and each tier receives a corresponding Season 0 badge that remains associated with that wallet for historical reference.
The tiers are structured as follows:
- Diamond: Top 1%
- Ruby: Top 5%
- Emerald: Top 15%
- Sapphire: Top 30%
- Jade: Top 50%
- Amethyst: Top 90%
- Quartz: Everyone else
These badges represent the first wave of Doma legends, and will serve as record of early participation in Season 0 and remain part of the user’s wallet identity in the Doma ecosystem.
Season 0: The First Generation of Doma Legends
Season 0 is a prelude, a way to recognize the earliest participants who engage with staking, holding, liquidity positions, and other on-chain actions that fuel the Doma ecosystem’s real on-chain foundation.
As the ecosystem evolves into Season 1, these early rankings will matter. They set your starting point for Doma’s full, long-term points program.
How Seasons Transition
To ensure a smooth technical transition:
- Season 0 = Onchain activity only
- Season 1 = Testnet roles, testnet quests, early NFTs, and all off-chain achievements
Season 0 focuses on mainnet actions because the testnet quest infrastructure requires time to properly wind down and integrate into the new mainnet leaderboard system. Once that migration is complete, all testnet and off-chain contributions will be fully incorporated starting in Season 1.
For OGs
If you participated in community.doma.xyz quests, testnets, early roles, or early NFT programs, your efforts will be recognized in Season 1. This staged approach ensures everything transitions cleanly and accurately.
