ICA Vegas Recap: Where DomainFi Met the Domain Industry

ICA Vegas Recap: Where DomainFi Met the Domain Industry

Las Vegas hosted the 2026 ICA Annual Member Meeting from January 15 to 17. Domain industry pioneers from all over the world gathered in Sin city to talk about the latest trends in the industry.

During the meet, Doma hosted Domain Daddies & Baddies, an exclusive after-hours side event designed for the people shaping what comes next.

This was an invite-only speakeasy social event that took place on Thursday, January 15, at Chez Bippy, tucked inside the MGM Grand Hotel. We hosted this event, in collaboration with our good friends NicNames. The venue did its part: a hidden-bar atmosphere, a curated open bar, and a surprise dessert bar revealed midway through the evening.

The night brought together domain investors, registrar executives, policymakers, and ecosystem operators in an off-the-record setting designed for relaxed and highly constructive conversations.

Attendees traded notes with domain owners already tokenizing premium domains on Doma. These people aren't merely speculating about “the future of domains,” but actively putting them to work today. There were open discussions about liquidity mechanics, market behavior, what’s breaking, what’s working, and where things are likely headed in 2026 were all discussed candidly.

ICA Vegas was a strong meeting point for the global domain industry.

In Closing

Overall, the whole evening was an epic experience. It was great to meet industry vets who have embraced the idea of DomainFi and are openly talking about it. Plus, we had some sick merch too. I believe I am gonna get a truckload of these caps!
