How the Internet Went Onchain: One Month on Doma Mainnet

What We’ve Built, What We’ve Learned, and What Comes Next

On November 25, Doma went live on mainnet. In just 30 days, we’ve seen thousands of users onboard, real liquidity form around domain tokens, and the first real examples of domains behaving like programmable, liquid onchain assets. Here is a quick snapshot:

  • 2,400+ holders and subscribers in the Software.ai ecosystem
  • ~5,500 unique wallets interacted with Doma
  • Multiple live launches across first-party and third-party domains
  • $1M+ in cumulative trading volume, deliberately capped through year-end
  • Rapid growth in subdomain minting and secondary trading
  • Growing participation from Web2 domain owners, registrars, and partners

Let’s get through some of the main highlights.

Software.ai: The First Premium Domain on Doma

Software.ai was our first flagship launch and it immediately became a huge hit. Trading began on a bonding curve at $25,000 FDV, and within minutes the token graduated at its target $250,000 FDV, driven by overwhelming demand. Thousands of users attempted to access the trading page simultaneously, briefly stressing the interface, a challenge we quickly addressed. However, the demand was clear to see.

Within the first 12 hours, Software.ai reached 1,700+ holders, saw 800+ subdomains minted (created by staking $SOFTWARE.AI tokens), and continued trading beyond its graduation, reaching a $350K FDV. As of now there are over 2,580 holders of $SOFTWARE.AI and over 2,690 unique subdomains issued.

Other Standout Launch Moments

Along with Software.ai, we saw several important launches:

Swimsuits.ai

On December 5, Swimsuits.ai launched on Doma. The token is now actively tradeable, and holders can stake, provide liquidity, mint subdomains, and earn Season 0 points through onchain activity.

Brag.com

Following Software.ai, Brag.com was the next premium domain to go live on Doma. As a four-letter .com with broad brand potential, it has already seen early market activity with:

  • 483 holders
  • $545K FDV
  • 200 Subdomains

Boner.com

Boner.com also launched on Doma, bringing another highly recognizable domain into the tradable onchain ecosystem. This domain attracted a lot of attention because of the fun subdomain possibilities.

Hightech.xyz

One of the most active domains by subdomain count and transaction frequency. Hightech.xyz quickly became a playground for experimentation, trading, and point accumulation, showing how expressive and social subdomains can be when friction is low. Over 750 unique subdomains are minted as of today.

Several smaller, playful launches generated outsized participation through.
These launches sparked rapid cycles of subdomain minting, trading activity, and leaderboard competition, proving that culture paired with simple mechanics can drive real onchain participation.

A few examples illustrate the pattern clearly:

Doma Leaderboard

As part of the Doma mainnet launch, we introduced Season 0 of the Doma Leaderboard, a unified, on-chain points system designed to recognize and surface meaningful participation across the Doma ecosystem.

Season 0 is not the full points program yet. It is the genesis season.

This first iteration sets the tone for how participation will be measured long-term: transparent, onchain, and rooted in real economic activity. It exists to recognize those who showed up early and are staking, holding, trading, and providing liquidity from Day 1.
