Doma Weekly: Rides.com Goes Live, $SOFTWARE.AI lands on Base & Doma hitting 7M Transactions

A lot happened on Doma this week. The biggest highlights were Rides.com going live and $SOFTWARE.AI launching on Base, both of which got the community talking. We also rolled out in-app notifications, making it much easier to keep up with launches, offers, earnings, and product updates without having to constantly check around the app. On top of that, Dominion ’26 kept building momentum, with more attention on the Web3 speaker lineup.

Overall, it felt like one of those weeks where product, launches, and community all moved at the same time.

Product Updates

This week, the team shipped three releases across the app, with a focus on smoother bridging, broader gasless support, and general app stability.

  • Bridge panel improvements: Gasless bridging is now the default, currencies are surfaced more clearly, and it’s easier to see when custom settings are turned on.
  • More gasless support across the app: More contract interactions now support gasless transactions for embedded wallets, making key actions simpler for users.
  • More reliable token data: Token data queries now run through Doma’s own graph, improving reliability and performance.
  • Better attribution tracking: UTM attribution was improved to give clearer last-click marketing data.
  • General bug fixes and stability updates: We also shipped a round of fixes across onboarding, wallet reconnects, profile loading, notifications, and mobile layouts, especially for longer domain and token names.

Doma By The Numbers

A big milestone this week: Doma officially crossed 7 million total transactions. It’s another sign of how quickly activity is building across the platform as more users, launches, and trades come through every day.

➤ Total Volume: $58.41M
➤ Total Transactions: 7,824,173
➤ Total Tokenized Assets: 116,115
➤ Total Wallets: 44,477
➤ Launched and Scheduled Tokens: 245+

AMA Recap: Richard Lau

This week’s AMA guest was Richard Lau, one of the best-known names in domains and the owner behind Rides.com.

He joined the community to talk about how he got started, what he looks for in premium domains, and why he thinks tokenization opens up a real new path for liquidity in the space.

A big part of the conversation focused on rides.com and why it stands out. Richard talked about it as a category-defining name with a lot of long-term upside, especially as transportation, AI, and digital platforms keep converging.

He also kept coming back to one point: domains are real digital assets, and the best ones still have huge value because they combine brand, utility, and scarcity in a way that’s hard to replace.

Community Corner

Community energy this week was mostly centered around two things: the Rides.com launch and the SOFTWARE.AI on Base announcement.

Rides.com bonded yesterday and got a lot of attention right away. Since launch, it has already reached a current FDV of $225K, with $167K in volume and 809 holders so far. That gave the community plenty to talk about, both around the launch itself and around what a name like that could look like onchain over time.

There was also strong engagement around SOFTWARE.AI expanding to Base. That post got people talking about what makes DomainFi different when the underlying asset is an actual registered domain that resolves in browsers and can support claimable subdomains.

That’s been the broader vibe lately too. Less surface-level hype, more discussion around how these assets actually work and why that matters.

Dominion ‘26: Where Domains Meet Liquidity

Dominion ’26 kept picking up steam this week.

We put a spotlight on the Web3 speakers joining the event, including our newest speakers from Solana, Ava Labs, and Paradigm, and also opened up a limited Bitcoin Speakeasy Pass for paid Bitcoin Vegas attendees.

Dominion is shaping up to be a pretty unique room. It is bringing together major domain holders, brokers, registrars, and Web3 operators around one idea that feels more relevant every week: premium internet domains are moving onchain.

If you’re already in Vegas for Bitcoin Vegas, it’s an easy way to plug into a more focused conversation around digital ownership, liquidity, and internet-native assets.
