Doma Weekly: New Milestones, Product Updates & the Smoothie.com Countdown
This week on Doma had a lot happening at once. The platform crossed $141M in total volume, we wrapped two AMAs with one of the most recognized names in the domain industry, smoothie.com is launching in less than 12 days and Launch Wars Season 2 kicked off with strong energy. Here's everything from the past seven days.
Product Updates
The engineering team shipped meaningful additions to the platform this week, both focused on making Doma easier to navigate and more engaging to use.
A new Activity tab is now live on the Explore page. It gives users a real-time view of what's happening across the platform — tokens, domains, subdomains, pools and activity — without having to dig through individual pages to stay informed.

Alongside that, a live trading strip has been added across pages on Doma. The strip surfaces active market data inline, so you can keep an eye on price movement and token prices while browsing. Together, these two updates make the platform feel more live and more connected, reducing the friction between discovery and action.

Doma By The Numbers
A strong week for platform stats across the board.
We crossed $141M in total volume this week — a major milestone that puts into perspective how far the platform has come since launch. Total transactions are now approaching 18.3 million, and tokenized assets continue to grow steadily.
➤ Total Volume: $141M
➤ Total Transactions: 18,277,426
➤ Total Tokenized Assets: 197,179
➤ Total Wallets: 52,578
➤ Domains Launched: 579

Each of these numbers reflects a platform that's becoming more and more active.
Doma OnAir: Chad Folkening on Idle Assets and the Era of the Parked Domain Being Over
This week on Doma OnAir, we sat down with Chad Folkening, Founder of eCorp.com and Global Ventures, and one of the most prolific premium domain holders on the internet with a portfolio exceeding 26,000 names.
Chad launched two domains on Doma recently: disintermediation.com on June 1, followed by agenttoken.com on June 3. The conversation covered why he sees onchain liquidity as the natural next step for premium domains, and why he believes the era of parking and waiting is giving way to something more active.
His framing was direct: premium domains are underutilized assets, and the tools to change that are finally here.

David Castello in the blender about Smoothie.com
The AMA with David Castello on June 16 drew 700+ participants, one of the strongest turnouts for a community session to date. The conversation around smoothie.com and what it signals for premium domain holders attracted a lot of attention from people outside the usual crypto-native crowd.

David is COO of Castello Cities Internet Network CCIN, with a portfolio spanning palmsprings.com, nashville.com, daycare.com, traveler.com, and dozens more — in the industry since 1997 and a 2009 Domain Hall of Fame inductee.
He chose Doma for smoothie.com after watching the platform grow since late 2025, and saw it was missing a category-defining global brand. Smoothie fills that gap. His strategy is straightforward: let the brand speak rather than define it for buyers, citing data showing 94% of major domain sales are landing-page names where buyers want to bring their own vision. Smoothie.com launches July 1.

Community Corner
The mood this week was a mix of competitive energy as Launch Wars Season 2 Conquer the Seas kicked off on June 16 and immediately drew strong signup numbers. The competitive atmosphere is back — users are tracking positions, adjusting strategies, and the leaderboard is moving fast.

The CCN media feature with Michael Ho published on June 18 also made the rounds in community channels, bringing some new eyes to the ecosystem.
🗣️ “Domains aren’t just websites anymore.”@D3inc Co-Founder Michael Ho (@mxchaelho) says the 371M domains powering the internet are evolving into a new onchain asset class — with $120M+ already traded on @domaprotocol.

Looking Ahead
The platform just crossed $141M in volume. And in less than 12 days smoothie.com launches on Doma — brought by the Castello Brothers, two of the most respected names in the domain industry. A signal that tier-one domain holders are paying attention to what's being built here. DomainFi is no longer a concept being explained. It's a market being used.
