Doma Weekly: Limit Orders Go Live, First Office Hours & the Next Premium Domain
This week on Doma was about giving traders more precision. Limit orders launched, the team held its first-ever Office Hours in Discord, and the next premium domain to launch on the platform - Applications.com - was revealed. Volume also kept climbing, with the platform now past $248M+ in total volume.
Product Updates
A batch of new features and smaller bug fixes shipped this week, all live now.
- Limit orders are live (see Feature Spotlight below)
- In-app notifications system includes product announcements now, surfacing new updates directly to users
- Launches tab redesigned: waitlist removed, pending domains now shown, and the status column reordered with sorting
- External wallets can now be disconnected directly via the X button in the wallet list
- Inline scroll removed from the Explore and Leaderboard pages for a smoother full-page scroll
- Fund options reordered, with updated copy and icons
- Pool and trade-form UI polish, including unified tab styling and cleaner button and icon states
Alongside these, a handful of bug fixes landed across bridging, token avatars, and layout issues on the domain detail page.
Feature Spotlight: Limit Orders Are Live
The headline feature this week is limit orders. Instead of buying a domain token at whatever the current price happens to be, users can now set the exact price they want to buy at. If the market hits that price, the order fills automatically, no need to sit and watch the chart waiting for the right entry.

Setting one up is straightforward:
- Go to any domain token page
- Switch to Advanced View
- In the buy modal, hit the "Limit" tab
- Set your budget and target price
- Choose an expiry: 1h, 24h, or 7d
- Review and place your order
It's an addition with real impact on how people trade domain tokens, giving traders a way to work with the market on their own terms. You can watch the full, step-by-step walkthrough here:

Community Recap: First-Ever Office Hours
The team tried something new this week: the first-ever Office Hours, held live in Discord. Rather than a structured interview, AMA or panel, this was an open questions session, with developers on-hand to answer them directly and help users on the platform. Turnout was strong, and it's a format we expect to keep running.

The team also teased something for traders to look forward to: AI-powered trading strategies, coming soon. Details are still light, but it's already generating buzz across the community.
Community Corner
Beyond Office Hours, the community had plenty to talk about this week, with a lot of energy building around what's coming next on the platform, both in terms of trading and upcoming domain launches and the Launch Wars season. The mood remains active and engaged, with people clearly paying close attention to each new feature drop.
Up Next: Applications.com
The next premium domain launching on Doma has been revealed: Applications.com

Few words have carried as much weight in tech as "applications." Desktop software turned programs into applications in the 80s and 90s. The internet era moved them online, through web apps and browser apps. App Stores, launched in 2008, took them mobile. SaaS and the cloud moved them off devices and into the browser. Now, in the AI and agentic era, applications are becoming intelligent systems in their own right.
The pace hasn't slowed down. Thousands of new apps are published to the App Stores alone every week, and the global AI market is projected to top $1.8 trillion by 2030, one of the fastest-growing categories in tech. Applications.com spans that entire evolution, from early desktop software to the AI-native apps being built today. It's the home for every application. And this is the first time it's going liquid and you can own a part of it.
$APPLICATIONS.com launches August 12.
Looking Ahead
This week was about giving people more ways to engage with Doma, whether that's trading with more precision through limit orders, getting questions answered directly by the team through Office Hours, or looking ahead to the next big domain launch. With Applications.com launching next, there's a lot to keep an eye on.
