Doma Weekly: Domains as RWAs, Updates & New Milestones

This week on Doma was about tightening the experience and expanding the vision. The engineering team landed a clean round of UX and navigation improvements that make the platform feel sharper across the board, we've crossed $112M in total volume and are now past 14.7M total transactions, while the community fired up around a new campaign. And with Domain Capital Markets coming to Solana, the conversation around domains as internet-native RWAs is starting to reach a new audience.

Product Updates

This week's focus was on UX and navigation polish, smoothing out some of the rough edges across the app to make everyday interactions feel more consistent.

  • Navbar dropdowns now close on mouse-up, fixing an interaction that felt off for a lot of users
  • The launchpad got meaningful attention this week, making the launch management flow more flexible end-to-end
  • On the interface side, the Get Funds modal received a full refresh — updated title, options text, icon, and button casing with a secondary style treatment
  • Unified hover padding across navbar dropdowns for a more consistent feel
  • Fixed the mobile search clear button alignment, which had been sitting slightly off
  • Resolved a sticky chat header gap that was causing layout issues on scroll
  • Replaced off-grey Alert banners with the shared blurry Banner component for a cleaner, more unified look

The platform feels noticeably tighter after this pass.

Doma By The Numbers

Another strong week on the numbers front.

We've crossed $112M in total volume and are now past 14.7M total transactions, both numbers that reflect consistent, compounding activity on the platform.

➤ Total Volume: $112.35M
➤ Total Transactions: 14,700,756
➤ Total Tokenized Assets: 168,019
➤ Total Wallets: 49,916
➤ Domains Launched: 562

The wallet count is closing in on 50,000 — a milestone worth watching for next week. Tokenized assets have also grown meaningfully, now past 168K, which speaks to the depth of the domain inventory being brought onchain.

Community Corner

The community had a lot to talk about this week, and two threads dominated the conversation. This week a new community campaign went live, and it's exactly the kind of thing that shows where DomainFi is heading as a social layer.

"Launch Wars" launched to immediate energy. Teams are forming, sides are being picked, and the competitive angle is drawing in people who hadn't been as active on recent launches. The mix of cash and points as prizes is landing well — it makes participation feel concrete, not just speculative.

The format is simple: pick a side, buy the domain, split the prize. It turns domain token launches into a team sport, creating direct incentive alignment between holders, liquidity, and community activity — all in one campaign.

What makes Launch Wars interesting beyond the prizes is what it demonstrates structurally. Domain token launches on Doma aren't just financial events, they're coordination moments. When a community gets behind a domain and its token, the liquidity, volume, and visibility all move together. Launch Wars is essentially a stress test of that mechanic, live.

Domains and the RWA thesis

There's been a lot of organic discussion this week around why domains fit the real-world asset narrative in a way most other asset categories don't. The framing going around: most RWAs are about taking offline assets and putting them onchain. Domains are different, they were born online. They've had real buyers, real sale histories, and real utility for 25+ years.

What they've been missing is a liquid market structure. That conversation is picking up, especially in the context of DAVs heading to Solana.

Solana Is Becoming the Home for Internet-Native RWAs
Domain capital markets are coming to Solana. Here’s what that means and why it matters now. Looking Ahead

UX is getting tighter, the community is more activated than it's been in weeks, and the expansion of domains coming to Solana as internet-native RWAs, sitting inside the fastest-growing ecosystem for onchain capital markets.

The first wave of RWAs brought treasuries and credit onchain. The next wave includes assets that were already digital, already scarce, and already transacted at scale. Premium domains fit that description, and Doma is building the infrastructure to make that market liquid.
