Doma Weekly: Agentic Domains, 70M+ Volume Milestone & Dominion Countdown
This week on Doma felt like a glimpse into the next phase of the internet. We crossed another major milestone with $70M+ in total volume and are closing in on 10M transactions, but the bigger story is where things are heading. From agentic domain ownership experiments to Dominion just days away, it’s clear the conversation is shifting from “what is DomainFi?” to “what can we build with it?”
Product Updates
This week’s updates focused on improving core app flows and reducing friction across mainnet.
- Gasless Uniswap swaps are now supported for ETH ↔ ERC20 swaps on embedded wallets.
- Users can now manage their primary name directly from their profile.
- Wallet addresses can now be shared through a scannable QR code in the account dropdown.
- The leaderboard received a visual refresh, including a new 1D rank delta.
- Smaller fixes landed across subdomain claims, buyout tooltips, and leaderboard display states.
Feature Spotlight: Agentic Domains Are Here
This week, we released a full demo for what we see as the agentic future of domains. AI agents can now search for available domains, register them, and manage DNS records without any human involvement. The demo was built by our team at the Tempo hackathon using MPP, the Machine Payments Protocol developed by Tempo and Stripe, which enables machine-to-machine payments directly inside an HTTP request. You can try it out here.
In practice, this means an agent can complete the full domain registration flow programmatically. It can decide which domain it needs, check availability, register it, and pay for it in one request through MPP on Tempo. There is no need for a pre-funded wallet, manual approval flow, or someone sitting in the middle to approve each transaction.

That matters because agents are becoming more capable, but they still need identity. DNS solved a similar problem for the internet decades ago by giving people, companies, and applications neutral, portable, human-readable identities. We believe domains can play that same role for AI agents.
This demo is an early preview of that idea. If agents are going to operate independently online, they will need names, ownership, payment ability, and a reputation layer that is not locked into one platform. Domains are already built for that kind of portability, and Doma is building toward making them usable in a more automated, agent-native world.

Doma OnAir: Ish Milly Joins the Conversation
This week on Doma OnAir, we brought in Ish Milly, founder of DomainerEXPO and a long-time domain investor, for a grounded perspective from the Web2 side of the industry.
Alongside Fred Hsu (CEO & CO-Founder, D3) and Mark Trang (CMO, D3), the conversation focused on:
- How traditional domain investors view liquidity today
- Why Dominion is attracting attention beyond Web3
- What it takes for domain owners to actually lean into tokenization
- Ish Milly launching his Domain trenches.ai on April 28, 2pm UTC on Doma
One of the key themes:
"this isn’t about replacing the domain industry, it’s about expanding what domains can do."

Community Corner
The community conversation this week was heavily centered around two things:
Agentic domains: The MPP demo sparked early discussions around what identity looks like for AI agents, and how domains could evolve beyond human use cases.
Dominion: With the event just days away, more people are starting to connect the dots between product, liquidity, and real-world adoption.
The overall vibe continues to shift toward deeper, more thoughtful discussions, less surface-level hype, more focus on how these systems actually work.
Just came across a pretty interesting demo from Doma Protocol:

AI is no longer just “writing” or “chatting”… it can now buy domains and pay for them without any human involvement 😳@domaprotocol@D3inc https://t.co/V0dquMcQJg
WWW: Weekly Wednesday Walkthroughs
If you’re new to Doma or just looking to get more comfortable navigating the platform, our Weekly Wednesday Walkthroughs continue to be the best place to start.
This week, we focused on the fundamentals. The first video walks through how to create and set up a wallet directly on Doma in just a few clicks, making onboarding simple for new users. Set up your wallet:
From there, the next walkthrough covers how to buy and sell domain tokens, including how the trading flow works and what “graduation” means in the context of domain launches.
For anyone who wants a more complete overview, the full Weekly Wednesday playlist brings everything together, covering additional features, tips, and deeper explanations of how the platform works.
Together, these walkthroughs are meant to lower the barrier to entry and make DomainFi more accessible, whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your approach.
Dominion ‘26: Just Days Away
Dominion is almost here.

This is where domains meet liquidity: live, in real time.
Over two days in Las Vegas, we’re bringing together:
- The brokers behind the $70M AI.com deal
- C-level leaders from Solana and Avalanche
- Domain investors already unlocking six-figure liquidity
- And live domain launches happening on stage, from tokenization to first trade

Looking Ahead
This week wasn’t just about growth, it was about direction.
We’re starting to see what happens when domains move beyond static ownership and into programmable, liquid, and even autonomous systems.
From agent-driven domain ownership to real-world liquidity events like Dominion, the pieces are starting to come together.
