Doma Introduces Domain Asset Vehicles (DAVs) and Agentic Engine
Today, live from the main stage at Dominion'26, we announced two new products designed to expand how domains are owned, accessed, and discovered online: Domain Asset Vehicles (DAVs) and the Doma Agentic Engine.
DAVs introduce a new category for tokenizing institutional domain portfolios as tradeable onchain assets, bringing structured access and liquidity to one of the internet’s oldest and most valuable asset classes.
Doma Agentic Engine helps domain owners prepare for the agentic internet by making domains more discoverable, useful, and actionable for AI agents.
Domains have always been core internet infrastructure. Yet despite their scale, the market has remained largely illiquid, with portfolios often sitting idle for years between sales and limited ways to access, price, or transact them at scale.
Domain Asset Vehicles introduce a new model.
Tokenizing institutional domain portfolios as tradeable onchain assets
A Domain Asset Vehicle (DAV) converts an entire domain portfolio into a single onchain asset.
Instead of managing or transacting domains individually, portfolio owners can structure thousands, or even millions, of domains into one unified asset, while continuing to operate them as they always have.
- Domains remain listed across existing marketplaces
- Sales continue through traditional web2 and web3 channels
- Operators retain full control over pricing and strategy
As Fred Hsu, Co-Founder and CEO of D3, shared during the keynote:
“The domain industry has been sitting on a multi-billion-dollar asset class with virtually no financial infrastructure to match its value. DAVs give institutional portfolio owners a way to access liquidity at scale without giving up control of the assets that define their business.”

From Illiquid Portfolios to Onchain Assets
Domain names represent a $360B+ asset class, but portfolio-level liquidity has historically been limited. Domain Asset Vehicles introduce a new structure.
DAVs bundle an entire domain portfolio into a single asset. A portion of the portfolio can be made available through an initial sale, with participants receiving exposure to the portfolio through DAV tokens. As domains sell through existing marketplaces, proceeds are distributed programmatically.
Importantly, the underlying domains remain fully functional and DNS-compliant, meaning they can still be used, listed, and sold as working internet domains, while also existing as onchain assets.
Built on Proven Infrastructure
DAVs extend Doma Protocol’s existing domain tokenization infrastructure.
Since launching mainnet in December 2025, Doma has processed:
- $76M+ in trading volume
- 10M+ transactions
- 46K+ unique wallets
- 425+ premium domain launches
DAVs bring this infrastructure to institutional scale, enabling registrars, domain funds, and large portfolio owners to access onchain liquidity across ecosystems like Solana, Base, and Avalanche.
Shared Ownership, Portfolio Exposure
DAVs introduce shared ownership at the portfolio level.
Instead of requiring the purchase of individual premium domains, participants can access a diversified portfolio of domains within a single structure.
This shifts the market from individual domain transactions to portfolio-level participation, from limited access to broader market participation, and from static portfolios to dynamic onchain assets.
Doma Agentic Engine
We also introduced the Doma Agentic Engine, a new tool designed to help domain owners understand how AI agents perceive and interact with their domains, portfolios, and websites.

The Agentic Engine surfaces missing discoverability signals, protocol endpoints, and content gaps, then provides one-click remediation tools to help domains become agent-ready. As AI agents increasingly navigate, evaluate, and transact across the internet, Doma Agentic Engine helps domain owners prepare for the next era of discovery.

As Inder Singh, Vice President of Product and Technology at D3, shared:
“Agent discovery optimization (ADO) will be to the agentic internet what search engine optimization (SEO) was to Google.”

The first DAVs and the Doma Agentic Engine are both expected to go live in Q2 2026.
Now Open: Applications & Waitlist
