Doma in the Lion City: Our Big Week at TOKEN2049 Singapore
By Fred Hsu, CEO & Co-Founder D3
TOKEN2049 Singapore was the next stop in our conference circuit. Singapore has always been a personal favorite. It always feels like this city is living a few decades in the future. Plus, they always host insanely great conferences.

Let’s dive in.
Growth Stage Panel Discussion at HackSeasons
I joined the panel “The $16 Trillion Opportunity: RWAs and the Future of Crypto” at Hack Seasons, sharing the stage with leaders from IOTA, Ondo, Rayls, and Pharos.

I spoke about the untapped potential of internet domains as RWAs and how tokenization is set to transform their liquidity and utility.
Builder Nights Singapore

My Co-Founder Michael Ho then joined the panel at Multichain Day to talk about how domains can be the infra-layer for an AI-powered world, since it is the most universal public key we have, a human-readable identity layer that everyone already understands.
As we move into an era of human-to-agent interaction, every AI agent will need a human-readable identifier at some level. The internet, not any single chain, will define how people interact with these agents.
At Doma, we’re making domain names DeFi-ready and composable. Composability lets us decouple ownership rights from utility, so the person who owns a name can grant or restrict how it’s used across apps, protocols, or AI agents.

Multichain Day Panel
Michael also took the stage on Multichain Day for a panel on DeFi yield, aggregation, and cross-chain utility.

He talked about one of the big things domain tokenization unlocks, the ability to plug domains straight into DeFi. Think using a tokenized domain as collateral, tapping into liquidity pools, and building real yield strategies around them.

RWA Day

I was also invited to give a keynote talk during RWA Day. I shared our vision for the future of internet domains as a real-world asset class. My talk, “Own and Trade the Internet: Tokenization and DeFi of Internet Domains as a $360B RWA,” explored how bringing domains on-chain via tokenization unlocks liquidity, composability, and DeFi utility for an asset people already understand and trust.
Wrapping Things Up
Singapore, you’ve been wonderful, generous as always. After bouncing from one event to the next, the team finally got a chance to slow down, catch our breath, and shoot a little pool.

That’s a wrap from Singapore. We’re heading home inspired and ready to keep pushing what’s possible with tokenized domains.
