13 Million Onchain Transactions: Doma Testnet’s Massive Summer
Doma’s testnet went live in late-June, bringing the first wave of DomainFi features and users onchain. In the past two months, the ecosystem has seen a dramatic uptick in builders, traders, and investors experimenting with tokenized domains. Community traction has been strong, with countless number of interactions, testnet transactions, and new members joining the movement.

Let’s take a look at what we’ve built so far, and the momentum the testnet has generated in just two short months.
Nearly 10x Growth: 759,098 Domains Tokenized on Doma Testnet
#1 Total Domains Tokenized
Between July and August, the total number of domains tokenized on the Doma testnet went up from 79K to 730K. As of writing a total of 759,098 tokens have been tokenized on Doma. Interest is high and our builders are convinced about the power of tokenized domains.
#2 Number of Contracts On-Chain
The chart above shows the number of contracts on Doma.The number of contracts rose from 314 on July 1 to 1512 on September 1. That’s an almost 400% rise in a two month period. Currently, the number of contracts on Doma stands at 1603.
#3 Total Transactions
Total transactions on Doma have crossed 13.5M. Between July 1 and September 1, the total transactions went up from 7.9M to 13M.

Doma Community Highlights
The Doma community is thriving across our Discord and virtual events.
- In the past 60 days, the community doubled in size, growing from 55,000 to 125,000 members.
- Galxe Campaign Impact: 100,000+ quest participants, supercharging awareness and onboarding.
- ~4,000 quest submissions brought structured contributions, while a massive >22,000 feedback messages poured in to refine the product.
- >4,100 stage-chat messages and >2,500 questions fired during AMAs and events, proof that live sessions became real-time workshops.
- >4,000 media uploads, from screenshots and bug proofs to memes and explainer clips, turned Discord into a living archive of the testnet.

Initiatives Driving Developer Innovation
Beyond the testnet metrics, Doma is investing directly into its builder community, creating programs that fuel developer innovation and expand what’s possible with tokenized domains.
Doma Forge
Announced in June with testnet, Doma Forge is a builder program designed to fuel the next generation of DomainFi app innovation. The Forge program provides a $1M USDC grant pool for developers who are looking to build on Doma. Builders gain access to ecosystem funding, direct collaboration with DomainFi technologists, and the opportunity to join our Developer-in-Residence program, receiving mentorship and hands-on support from Doma’s core engineering team.
DomainFi Hackathon on Dorahacks
Doma also launched the DomainFi Challenge, its first global hackathon on the DoraHacks platform, with $50,000 in USDC in prizes and automatic consideration for Forge grants from a $1M pool. Developers worldwide are invited to build dApps that push the boundaries of DomainFi using Doma’s testnet and protocol features. Running from August 9 to September 12, 2025, the hackathon also includes optional Ambassador Challenges with extra rewards, mentorship, and pathways into the Doma ecosystem.
